It’s not always easy to get the amount of protein we need each day, which is often an issue of timing. Not having a long enough lunch break, running the kids around everywhere, leaving the gym to go straight to work, etc. Or perhaps you’re just a “light eater” or need a quality source of protein after a tough workout. In either case, Quest Protein Powder may be the right solution.
Unlike many supplement companies, Quest Nutrition is committed to offering the cleanest nutritional products – and ones that actually taste good. Not only do they use the highest quality protein sources (whey protein isolate, micellar casein and milk protein isolate), but Quest Nutrition Protein Powder consists of quality, all-natural flavorings, including: sea salt, stevia (naturally derived from plants and 200 times sweeter than sugar without raising blood sugar), sunflower lechitan (considered beneficial to the brain, nervous system, and more) and other natural ingredients – real cocoa powder, dried fruits, natural spices and extracts.
Plus, Quest Protein Powder has one of the highest percentages of protein-to-calories on the market.

My Review of Quest Protein
Working in supplement stores and gyms, plus competing and running this website… there aren’t many protein powders that I haven’t tried. Companies often send me samples, so you can only imagine the amount of “taste testing” I’ve done over the years, along with all of the feedback I’ve heard from others. You always remember the products that you hated, but even more so the ones that you absolutely loved.
My first experience with Quest Nutrition was with their protein bars. The thing that stood out the most was their outstanding flavor. They didn’t taste artificial or leave a funky aftertaste in my mouth, like most protein bars. Once I heard they had a protein powder, I was ecstatic and ordered some immediately.
A few things are important to me when I purchase protein powder: it has to mix well (with water, shakes and food), I need plenty of protein per scoop (best bang for my buck), and taste… it can’t be artificial, stale, bitter or grainy. There’s nothing worse than gulping down a chunky protein drink or a shake that tastes like cardboard!
I can honestly say that Quest Protein Powder lives up to all of these expectations, and more. It mixes up extremely well and tastes great all by itself, or mixed with shakes. With just a few swirls of the spoon the powder completely dissolves, with no grainy chunks floating on top or sticking to the sides. Clean up is quick, and there are plenty of ways to spice things up if you’d like to be more creative.
Quest Nutrition Flavors & Options
Quest Protein is available several different flavors: Chocolate Milkshake, Peanut Butter, Strawberries & Cream, Vanilla Milkshake and Unflavored. Chocolate Milkshake is my personal favorite all by itself, but the Vanilla and Unflavored are great for baking or mixing in with other ingredients. I like to use the Vanilla Milkshake and throw in a tbsp of natural peanut butter, 1/2 cup of oats, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. It tastes just like a cookie… but without the sugar and calories.
In addition, Quest offers individual protein packets… which is the best idea ever! I used to carry a tub of protein around in my car and use it at work or after the gym, but now I can put one in my purse and take it anywhere. Protein on the go – woo hoo! Quest’s Protein Packets are super convenient and I always try to have one with me.
Quest Nutrition Protein Powder is a little more expensive than your typical, generic protein, but I will happily spend extra on the products that I love; especially when I know that they’re made with quality, all-natural ingredients. I genuinely enjoy the taste of Quest Protein and look forward to having my shake each day! They live up to their goal as a company, and I feel like I’m having a real “treat” 🙂
